Karin Fronczke

Fidelity may be better known for its investments in public companies, but with hundreds of unicorns raising money this year, Karin Fronczke’s division is having a moment in the spotlight. The deals her team are landing are ballooning in size, as Fidelity mutual funds invest in companies like Rivian and Reddit. Fronczke has spearheaded some of Fidelity’s first private investments in countries like India and Sweden, and her role now includes advising CEOs of startups and private companies and guiding them through growth and the process of going public. During the pandemic, factory tours and meetings have been taking place on-screen, and Fronczke has been doing what she can to boost morale and a sense of community within her team—whether it be through remote wine tastings or going on walks with coworkers.
