Wyatt, known in the gaming world as Fwiz, oversees two of the biggest business units at YouTube: gaming and VR. Starting his career as a commentator at e-sports companies Major League Gaming and Machinima, Wyatt was hired by YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki at just 27 years old to oversee the explosion of e-sports and game streaming content on the platform. Under his leadership, YouTube Gaming is catching up to its biggest competitor—Amazon-owned Twitch—in terms of hours streamed, and convinced e-sports’ biggest free agent, “Ninja,” to return to YouTube after Microsoft’s Mixer platform closed earlier this year.
