Jill Hazelbaker

Jill Hazelbaker has quickly become one of Uber’s most prominent executives. The 39-year-old began leading the company’s marketing, policy, and communications last year after a reshuffling of the executive team. A top manager at Uber since 2015, Hazelbaker had already helped the company navigate its rapid growth, a highly anticipated initial public offering, and the ousting of previous CEO Travis Kalanick. She was one of the main advocates for Uber’s Safety Report, a public accounting of the number of vehicle accidents, sexual assaults, and murders on the company’s service that started last year.
