Eric Wu

A veteran of the startup world, Eric Wu had success with real estate–focused projects RentAdvisor and Movity before cofounding Opendoor in 2014. His current baby is proving his biggest success so far; more than 75,000 customers have used Opendoor’s platform, which enables users to buy and sell homes online in more than 20 cities across the U.S. With more than $1.3 billion in funding raised to date, the company was most recently valued at a whopping $3.8 billion, as private equity giants like SoftBank and General Atlantic have backed Wu’s vision for a more expedient, data-driven residential real estate experience.
