As a former U.S. Marine, Rajendra Hariprashad used his spare time to teach fellow Marines how to drive. Upon completion of his service, he saw a business opportunity and founded Ena’s Driving School, naming it after his mother. The company’s well-trained instructors and high-quality fleet of cars have helped Ena’s Driving School land several institutional partnerships with local schools and government agencies, and the company has a strong commitment to social good, offering free and reduced-price classes to veterans and low-income community members. Hariprashad sees his employees as the “foundation” of the company, and he balances strong and consistent staff training with flexible scheduling, telecommuting options, and other perks to allow his employees a strong work-life balance.
