About the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For – Southeast Asia (2025)

Southeast Asia’s business landscape is evolving fast, with thriving companies offering higher-paying jobs at factories, offices, and hotels.

In this ever-changing environment, the inaugural Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For list spotlights organizations that excel not only in performance but also in creating outstanding workplaces.

Built on the Great Place to Work model, this list recognizes companies whose employees trust their employers, take pride in what they do, and enjoy their colleagues. Crucially, these indicators are the same for every employee, regardless of role, identity, or location.

In Southeast Asia, the best employers are demonstrating that business success and employee well-being are inseparable.

This year’s list draws on the voices of 1.3 million employees from over 450 companies across a diverse array of industries in Southeast Asia. Trust Index scores among the Fortune 100 Best Companies ranged from 80% to an impressive 92% of employees reporting consistently positive workplace experiences—far above the regional average of 67%.

Trust anchors every great workplace. Employees thrive when their managers’ words and actions are aligned and promises are kept, and when fairness and safety are embedded in day-to-day office life. In the region’s best workplaces, feeling cared for is not a perk but part of the culture.

Yet the data also shows differences across Southeast Asia’s many markets. In Indonesia and Singapore, employees prize integrity and transparency in leadership. In Malaysia, employees want a voice in decision-making and clear expectations from management. In the Philippines and Vietnam, employee well-being and appreciation for their work takes center stage.

But despite these differences, the message across Southeast Asian workplaces is the same: Integrity, inclusion, and respect are what makes a thriving workplace.

As the region continues to evolve, the 100 Best Companies set the standard for what it means to be a truly great workplace—and prove that investing in people is the surest path to sustainable success.
