The University of Nevada–Las Vegas ranked No. 1 among Fortune’s list of the best online master’s degree programs in nursing. The school doesn’t require applicants to submit GRE scores for its online MSN nurse practitioner program. Prospective students are required to submit three letters of recommendation and international applicants are required to submit TOEFL scores. Last year, students accepted to this program had a 3.62 undergraduate GPA, on average. The retention rate for the program was 89.4% in 2021. The online MSN program offers a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner concentration and a family nurse practitioner concentration.

The listed tuition amounts were collected from nursing schools for our Best Online Master’s in Nursing in 2022 ranking. If schools did not provide the total tuition cost of the program, we multiplied the cost per credit amount by the minimum class credit hours required to graduate. 1. Pepperdine University

Applicants to Pepperdine University’s online master’s degree program in psychology must submit two letters of recommendation, though a GRE score isn’t required as part of the application. The TOEFL is required for applicants whose native language is not English and who didn’t earn the equivalent of a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree in the U.S. Last year, the average undergraduate GPA among incoming students accepted to this program was 3.26. The acceptance rate for the program was 71% for the 2020-2021 year, and students must complete between 36 to 48 credits to graduate.
