On the Best Companies list for the 11th year in a row, World Wide Technology’s people-first approach continues to garner praise from its employees. “I can truly say this is a company that cares,” says one staffer. “When I [was] hired on, everyone talked about the ‘culture’ so much that I thought it was just talk. And once I got here, I realized it’s true.” Building on its pandemic leave policy from 2020, WWT encouraged employees to block out time during the day to focus on their families or other personal affairs—which, along with boosting workforce morale, also came with an added bonus of maximized productivity. The technology company also revisited its employee assistance program, adding a new wellness track with presentations on topics ranging from stress and mental health to nutrition and skin protection, as well as additional information on the many benefits the company offers to improve its employees’ quality of life.
