UnionDigital Bank

UnionDigital is one of six digital banks in the Philippines, and the only one backed by a universal bank, Union Bank, itself part of the Aboitiz Group, a large diversified Filipino conglomerate. Union Bank launched UnionDigital in 2022, and now has around 900,000 customers. Much of the Philippines outside of major metropolitan areas is still underbanked.
