Somnigroup International is the world’s largest bedding company, with roots that stretch back to 1846 through the founding of the Sealy business and a modern corporate lineage built through years of brand expansion and consolidation. The company was formerly known as Tempur Sealy International and changed its name to Somnigroup International in February 2025 after combining with Mattress Firm Group Inc. Headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky, Somnigroup designs, manufactures, distributes, and retails bedding products across the United States and internationally. Its portfolio includes some of the best-known sleep brands in the market, including Tempur-Pedic, Sealy, Stearns & Foster, and Sleep’s, along with retail banners such as Mattress Firm, Dreams, Tempur-Pedic retail stores, SOVA, and Sleep Outfitters.
