Tanium awards new full-time staffers with restricted stock units and liquidity opportunities, setting itself apart from other software companies by emphasizing the importance of employee ownership. And it takes the mission of an economically independent workforce a step further, hosting financial wellness weeks, where employees can get one-on-one advice on topics like wealth management and retirement savings from financial advisers. Since 2016, Tanium has kept the same vision, medical, and dental plans and maintained largely the same rate of premiums by absorbing any increased cost over the years. And in 2020, Tanium began to offer an employer contribution to the health savings accounts of participants in the high-deductible health insurance plan. The program was expanded in 2021 to cover half of employees’ annual deductible, further lowering their out-of-pocket liability.
