This is year 14 on the list for Stryker, one of the world’s leading medical technology companies. Providing services in surgical, neurotechnology, orthopedics, and spine, the company employs over 52,000 people and impacts more than 150 million patients.  

Keeping patients and care teams safe is part of the company’s main priorities. It designed a smoke evacuation system to dispose of “surgical smoke,” which is released into the air when lasers or electrosurgical devices contact human tissue, and can carry harmful toxins, viruses and bacterias. Stryker also partners with organizations, like Helmsley’s Rural Healthcare Program, to ensure rural populations have access to high quality healthcare by providing cardiac monitors and chest compression devices.
