Stevens Construction

Employees say:

"What makes this company unique is the combination of a high-performing, fast-paced environment with a genuinely supportive and people-focused culture. While construction can often be high pressure, there is a real emphasis here on collaboration, respect, and doing things the right way. Leadership is accessible and engaged, and there is a strong sense of trust across teams. Team members are encouraged to take ownership of their roles, share ideas, and be part of the bigger picture rather than just 'doing a job'. The company also makes a consistent effort to recognize contributions, invest in professional growth, and support work-life balance through flexibility and communication. This balance of accountability, opportunity, and respect is what truly sets the company apart and makes it a great place to work."

"I think the care they take in the hiring process to ensure the person interviewing is a good fit for the company is unique. Also, the little perks like birthday luncheons and offering tickets to sporting events I think aids in promoting work a life balance."
