Founded in 2016, StashAway aims to make investing accessible and simple for everyone. The platform uses an "Economic Regime-based Asset Allocation" algorithm to adjust portfolios during shifts in the economy cycle. StashAway's home is Singapore, but this year the company expanded its high-net-worth offerings to Hong Kong and the UAE, in the hope of better serving high-net-worth individuals in other financial centers. The company surpassed $1 billion in assets in January 2021, and achieved profitability in Singapore, still its largest market, this year. StashAway has backing from prominent investors like Peak XV Partners and Hamilton Lane.
