"I feel what makes Sheetz unique is the way it genuinely cares about its employees and is willing to invest in their growth, both personally and professionally. The Sheetz home base is in Central Pennsylvania and the opportunities this company provides individuals and families in this area with a chance at a lucrative salary paired with a healthy work-life balance are unmatched."
Employees say:
"I am encouraged to challenge the status quo and see how we can change or optimize the processes that we already have. I'm encouraged to try and fail and learn from those experiences, and instill that same mentality in the people at my store as well. Above all else, I am reminded daily that my job, the core of my position, is to take care of my people. That philosophy is embodied from the top down."

"Sheetz has supported my family through my marriage, birth of both of my children, multiple family deaths, professional certifications, continued professional training/education, a masters degree, tuition reimbursement, scholarship, promotions, 3 relocations, and overall growth. I do not know where I would be professionally without Sheetz but I am forever grateful that I found them when I did. When I got here I felt at home and knew right away 'they get me.'"

There are not many employees that will say that about other companies."

"Our jobs feel like a second home. Everyone here accepts and honors each other. Our second family is hard working, supportive, generous, inventive, and de-stressing! We all feel heard and our opinions matter. We are trusted with making changes for the betterment of our team."
Employees say: "At Sheetz, the sense of family and community within the workplace is astounding. Whether I am talking with store employees, corporate support staff, middle-management to directors, or above to executives, everyone in this company seems to embody the same core DNA values the organization holds dear. For me, being genuine is a very special and rare attribute for a company to possess, both inwardly towards employees, and externally to the communities we serve. Sheetz has that 'realness' in abundance!"
Employees say:
"Sheetz has been a great place to work, their dedication to growth gives way to more opportunities for their employees to grow with them. Sheetz is dedicated to the people and the communities they conduct business in. This has been one of the best companies I have worked for."

"Our company is DRIVEN TO WIN and goes for any goal we collectively set with a fire and energy that is unmatched in other companies. At the same time, we're cared for and taken care of as if we were part of the Sheetz Family. The family knows me and things about my personal life and family that continually surprise me - I appreciate the feeling that I'm not just a number here."
One of Pennsylvania’s characteristic and beloved gas station chains, Sheetz convenience stores serve over 1.6 million customers daily at more than 720 locations across six states. With 26% of its workforce 21 years or younger, Sheetz provides opportunities for student-loan-free education. It offers free GED credentialing, and employees working an average of 16 hours are eligible for $5,250 of tuition reimbursement benefits.
Sheetz has also worked to show its appreciation in other ways, for instance the hectic shifts during busy summer months: Sheetz launched “Week of Thankz” in 2022, and in 2023, 350 support staff members signed up to help employees with store tasks. “I never knew something like this would make me feel so great. I literally couldn't stop smiling… I have never been a part of a company that did something like this, and I'm grateful that I am now,” an associate manager in Greensboro, N.C., said.
As part of the company’s Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility work, the company launched an I.D.E.A. advisory group called “I.D.E.A. Voices” to gather feedback and implement change in stores. In 2023, the group had more than 115 members. As part of their feedback, the group helped the company update its hair and hat policy to be more inclusive.
