Employees say:
"The culture is incredible. The leadership truly commits to core principles, such as 'Win as a Team' and 'Stay hungry and humble.' Also, the focus on helping employees be great at and committed to their craft while also offering ways to manage stress (such as 4 wellbeing days per year) is impressive. The ability to maintain a performance culture while also a collaborative, happy one is the best I have seen in 34 years of corporate work."

"ServiceNow is a unique place to work in that there is a feeling of genuine excitement at the work we do. We make work better for people. That's a brand promise and one lived fully within the organization. Everyone is excited about the future and bringing AI to help people do better work, faster and easier. Our CEO is the most inspirational leader and everyone feels a sense of pride from him -- in our work. He excites our teams and has built the most trusted org of my career."

Employees say: "From day one, the conversation came up about career growth, development, and where I 'wanted to go.' The 'People Pact' is real—not just on a brochure, but you actually can see the value in play among decisions, communications, approaches, and benefits."

Employees say:
"They give us mental health days once a month to ensure that we do not get "burn out" and have a great work/life balance. They have great benefits for paid time off and maternity leave. There are also good opportunities to help volunteer for many organizations and they help match donations. I also love all the great speakers they bring in to give us motivational talks."

ServiceNow ranks No. 21 on the 2024 World’s 25 Best Workplaces list.

Employees say:
"There is an electricity about our culture that permeates everything we do. From our executive communications to the impact we all can make on the company and our customers it feels like we are on the verge of something really important."

Unsurprisingly—considering the company provides cloud-based software—95% of ServiceNow's global employees either work flexibly or are fully remote. Remote employees receive a monthly reimbursement for home office expenses, and its 'Work from Anywhere' scheme allows employees to work anywhere in the country of their employment or from a country where they hold citizenship and where ServiceNow has a legal entity, for up to 30 days (consecutive or non-consecutive) each year. The 4,278 employees working out of its eight European bases can expect generous family leave, matched donations, annual learning stipends, flexible time off and paid volunteer days.
Employees say:
"I always feel like my leadership is 100% invested in my success. I always feel like I am aligned with my leadership or I am able to have a candid and respectful conversation with my leadership to get aligned. I love being a part of a team that is invested in each other's success. I love being able to count on others to help when I am stuck or unable to find my way forward."

Employees say:
"ServiceNow embodies the epitome of inclusivity and diversity. There are countless opportunities to network and build relationships with people from various diverse backgrounds. The technology is not only leading edge but so is the corps d'esprit of the people. The most unique thing about this company that makes it a great place to work is the collaborative environment. Everyone regardless of title will roll up their sleeves to assist each other in solving problems themselves or finding the right people to solve problems. There is a palpable sense of cohesion and belonging within this organization, and I love it!"

Employees say:
"The culture here is incredibly warm, welcoming, and fantastic. Several VP level folks reached out to me in my early days to ensure my onboarding went smoothly, and asked "what can I do to help make you successful?" In fact I continue to hear those words from leadership, and it's sincere in its delivery."

This California-based software company is looking toward AI and human mentorship to develop its current employees for success. Employees enjoy six company-wide “well-being” days off a year designed for employees to take a collective pause. The frED program uses AI to connect employees with courses that help develop both technical and soft skills. ServiceNow launched a mentoring program in March 2023 to match existing employees and new hires with ServiceNow mentors, while it also employs the RiseUp program to put people of all backgrounds, regardless of technical skills, on paths to careers in the ServiceNow ecosystem.

Software company ServiceNow puts employees first with its People Pact, which is a commitment to help its employees live their best lives, do their best work, and fulfill the company purpose.
- ServiceNow stresses upskilling, and launched a global career development program in October 2022 known as RiseUp.
- Employees can take advantage of a host of well-being offerings including cooking classes, mental health workshops, fertility resources, adoption assistance, childcare support, and a flexible vacation policy in the U.S.
- Leaders are open to direct communication with channels like Now at Work, where employees can ask leaders questions, build community, and openly discuss topics and issues that are important to them.
- “They regularly have voluntary meetings that talk about a range of subjects involving workplace culture, inclusiveness, and diversity,” one employee said. “Unlike every other place I've worked at, the meetings feel sincere and not like a forced activity to check a box.”

Employees say:
"The company strives to make it more than a job, encouraging belonging and involvement in the community. We have a cycling team that rides for a global charity. Our executives are supportive by donating their time, including donating 'executive experiences' that we auction off to raise funds."

Employees say:
"The culture is very unique. I haven't worked for a company like this in my 30-plus-year career, where people honestly care for one another. I had a life-changing illness a couple of years ago, and everyone rallied around making sure that I took care of myself first and made sure that I didn't worry about my job. The company has great health and disability benefits, so I wasn't saddled with medical debt or loss of wages while I was out for three months on disability. My current manager is regularly checking in with me to make sure that my workload is manageable, and I'm taking an appropriate amount of time off where I am expected to completely unplug. He also leads by example on this."

Employees say:
"ServiceNow lives its commitment to diversity and inclusion. Everything from the executive diversity, to the corporate programs, to the recruiting best practices, to the recognized holidays builds a true sense of community that is lacking in most organizations."

Employees say:
"I'm just continually impressed by the benefits offered here, and the way the company wants to show they appreciate employees from the get-go. ServiceNow doesn't want employees to feel like they're being brought in at the bottom of the pole—instead, they want to show them immediately that they're appreciated and give us reasons to stay before we even officially join! That starts you off on such a positive note, and at least in my department, the teams I work with keep the positivity flowing."
