ReliaQuest wants to take the minutia out of cyber security

CEO Brain Murphy wants ReliaQuest to be the company that not only helps its customers fight cybercrime but helps their employees with career growth.

My name is brian Murphy. I'm the founder and ceo of relying quest. I founded the company in 2007 rely quest is a cyber security technology company? Our security operations platform gray matter allows large enterprise customers to detect and investigate, respond regardless of where their data sits. From the cloud to on prime data to the endpoint where the force multiplier of security operations for some of the largest logos in the world. E. S. G. Is an important area for real. We're a cybersecurity company, a global cybersecurity company. So data data privacy, making sure that we're protecting not only our user data, our team members, user data, our customers use data. It's a really big focus area for us and something that that we believe is critical for our organization's purpose is critical because I truly believe just being a founder of a company. I believe that people want to understand the impact they have every day and they want to understand how they're contributing to making an industry better, making a company better, making their teammates better. And so purpose matters. We we we all want to know why we're doing something. We want to be intentional. We want to make a clear impact and and we want to we want to get better. There's no perfect but there is a better and I think that purpose allows us to constantly chase possible. I measure success on in multiple different ways. I mean from from running a business obviously are we doing this? Doing the things that we said we are going to do. Are we honoring our commitments to our customers? We honoring our commitments to our teammates. Are we honoring our commitments to our shareholders? And so I measure success based on, am I living up to the standard that I put out into the world and I can't continually getting a little bit better. So I think for me, successes around consistent improvement and and getting a little bit better. Um it's not a static market, something that you continue to push forward. I would like to like wants to be known for being that strategic partner at the enterprise. I want us to be known for not only making security possible and removing a lot of the minutia and mundane data out of cybersecurity, but I want to be known for being a world class organization to work for, to partner with a place where people start their career and you know, we already promote from within more than 50% of the time. And I really want to be known for as a place that you know when people talk about it, they said, well I started my career early request and I grew my career and you know, I I learned different roles and got different opportunities and I think that the benefit of a business is yes, it's the all of the revenue marks and those things that we use as an external scoreboard, but for me is the founder internally, what are the impact that we're having in our communities, What are the impact that we're having to the families of our team members? Um, That to me is is really what I want to be known for doing the things that we said we're going to do and offering people opportunity.
