Making its debut on the Best Companies to Work For list, the business software company stands out for its focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- By 2027, Qualtrics aims to have 50% of its staff be women and 27% of employees from underrepresented minority groups. Currently, the company says it’s 70% of the way toward meeting its goal on gender split and 50% of the way toward meeting its diversity goal.
- In addition, Qualtrics has publicly committed itself to ensuring equal pay among employees of all genders and races. To hold itself accountable, it conducts a semiannual audit to verify pay equity among its staff. The company says it has achieved racial pay equity.
- To complement its data-focused approach on diversity, the company requires employees to undergo antiracism and unconscious bias training, and trains managers on diverse hiring practices.
- In January 2023, Qualtrics laid off approximately 270 employees, less than 5% of its workforce.
