The company refrained from awarding promotions on an annual basis in the fourth quarter of 2021 and instead encouraged employees to grow according to their own timeline. The weekly one-on-one sessions that Publicis Sapient initiated in 2023, in which managers discussed growth opportunities with their direct reports, grew twofold over the year. Early career employees participate in the Aspire Speed Hackathon, where teams generate solutions to address industrywide issues or problems specific to the firm. Within 48 hours, the teams showcase their ideas, and winners are awarded with a trip to Necker Island.
Through its Working With Cancer pledge, Publicis Sapient supports staff who are battling cancer and chronic disease; the pledge guarantees workers at least one year of full job security and offers career support for both patients and caregivers. Publicis Sapient also hosts the Howathon, a women-led diversity, accessibility, and sustainability initiative in which participants alert senior company leaders to challenges faced, along with creative ways to address them.
