Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company is a mutual life insurance company that offers services to individuals, families, and businesses in the United States. Its products include Medicare supplements, disability income, and dental insurance, as well as term, whole, and universal life policies. The company was known as Mutual Benefit Health and Accident Association until it changed its name to Mutual of Omaha in 1962. In 2025, the company announced a plan to reorganize under a mutual holding company structure owned by policyholders.

- Mutual of Omaha joined the Maverick Mentoring Pilot program, which partners with the University of Nebraska at Omaha and matches associates with first-generation college students to mentor.
- Culture Espressos is a new program that provides employees with a concentrated 15-minute discussion that focuses on different concepts each month and provides activities and discussion ideas to take back to their teams.
- The company helped found the Siembra project, joining a group of companies in partnership with the Latino Center of the Midlands to help recruit and prepare high school students for internship programs.
- Mutual of Omaha regularly reviews its benefits program. In 2022, it enhanced bereavement leave, increased the lifetime benefit for infertility, increased the tuition reimbursement benefit, added a voluntary hospital indemnity insurance plan, increased the subsidy for employees who adopt children, and kept the employee premium for the 2023 medical plan within 3% of last year’s premium.
