Mercury

Employees say:

"The management is some of the best I've ever seen and everyone is made to feel important and capable! Through ups and downs, we always receive every resource we need and the team works hard for/always encourages each other. On top of that, we receive fantastic benefits and it is clear they care about our mental and physical wellbeing at Mercury."

Employees say:

"This company treats its employees like the unique and important individuals that they are. Mercury is not just welcoming at the beginning when you are first hired, but they continue to show their employees their gratitude and excitement for their employees throughout the year. The majority of the people here are high performers who are also empathetic, caring and supportive. This is the best place I have and will ever work for."

Employees say:

"The company seems to value your unique perspective as an individual valuing diversity of thought and active thinking. They care about your growth and encourage you to keep learning through the generous learning and development budget. The company also truly wants you to take care of yourself by using the wellness benefit, which can be used for things like vacations, hobbies, or a spa day!"

Employees say:

"The culture is really wonderful—from executives to ICs, there's an emphasis on acting with humility/a low-ego environment, and expertise is trusted regardless of tenure, which is something not common at fintechs. Mercury is keen on direct communication and transparency, which goes a long way in creating a psychologically safe place to work. Plus, we allow dogs in offices. Can't beat that!"

Employees say:

"All things considered, Mercury truly is a great place to work. The benefits, perks, and compensation are highly competitive. Being a remote-first company, it can be challenging to build a healthy, fun, and inclusive culture, but Mercury goes above and beyond to make it right. There is a "people-first" approach at Mercury where employee needs are actively met (e.g. flexibility, wellness, sense of belonging, etc.). Leaders are emotionally intelligent and genuinely care about employee wellbeing."

Employees say:

"The transparency in the business, trust of management, and open-mindedness is felt by myself and the colleagues I work with."

Employees say:

"I have never been at a company that is so welcoming and appreciative of the work I have done. We even have a slack channel called "grateful" where people just go and call out people that have been working extra hard or who have been doing a really good job. The benefits are incredible and I feel very connected to the people I work with."

Employees say:

"The employee culture here is phenomenal - it made a considerable impression on me before I started at Mercury and I have now been here for a couple of months and am still impressed on a daily basis by the kindness, generosity, autonomy, and empowerment within this role that I experience! I feel the company sees me as not "just" an employee but values me as a person on an individual and human level by providing extra "fringe" benefits such as the lunch perk, opportunities to travel for on-sites, the wellness budget, and L&D budgets!"

Employees say:

"I feel uniquely human at Mercury. This sounds pretty basic, but there's a culture that creates a lot of space for folks to bring their full, authentic selves to work. No one is perfect, polished, 'above' anyone else, including leadership."
