Lucid Software

Employees say:

"I feel like I could Slack anyone in the organization all the way up to CEO and receive a reply within 24 hours. I love the annual Hackathons where they fly everyone into Salt Lake City for a week. We also get two weeks a year to work on whatever work we feel is important to the company. Add in beginning with company holidays, 20 days of PTO a year (increasing by one a year until capping at 25) and unlimited sick time and I feel I can refresh whenever needed. And if I make it to 5 years, they offer a paid sabbatical! Lucid has impressed me with their people-centric approach."

Employees say:

"I really like Lucid's yearly Hackathon. All engineers get to form their own teams and work on a project that they decide on for a week. Lucid flies in remote employees and we have a big "science fair" to debut finished projects at the end of the week. Everyone gets to vote on their favorite projects, and project winners get prizes. It's a really fun time, and Hackathon projects often evolve into roadmap items that we deliver to users."

Employees say:

"The company hosts regular hackathons where employees from all departments can collaborate on innovative solutions, some of which have led to real product improvements. Additionally, leadership is genuinely approachable and invested in employee success, often providing mentorship opportunities and career development programs."

Employees say:

"The entire organization is made up of individuals who excel in their positions, they are smart, they are capable and most importantly, they "row together." Every person I've encountered has no trouble setting aside their ego to help others and the company succeed."
