Formed through the 2010 merger of Live Nation and Ticketmaster, Live Nation Entertainment is a publicly traded global leader in event ticketing and live entertainment. The company traces its origins to 1996 with the founding of SFX Entertainment, which would later evolve into Live Nation. Each year, it sells hundreds of millions of tickets and produces over 20,000 live shows around the world. Beyond ticketing and production, Live Nation has a significant footprint in artist management through its subsidiaries Front Line Management and Artist Nation. The company operates the Hollywood Palladium and owns and operates other iconic venues such as San Francisco’s Fillmore and House of Blues.
