In 2020, as a response to the coronavirus pandemic, Liberty Mutual supported individual policyholders in the U.S. by providing a 15% refund on two months of their auto premium, as well as a 15% refund on two months of premiums for business owners’ policies. The company also stopped charging late fees, paused personal auto and home coverage cancellations, and waived late fees for business owners.
