legos current environmental initiatives are really all around two main aspects, one around climate and one around materials were rolling out solar panels across all of our factories. You know, we're building offshore wind farms through our parent company, Kirkby and doing lots of great stuff because the technology is is more known and we know how to mitigate our climate impact from our energy use. But on the materials, that's where it's more of the moon shot, we're looking at alternative sources for plastic. So either from recycled materials, which is our recent P. E. T. Bottles prototype or from bio based materials. So naturally sourced plastic materials, for example, sugar cane, which is our plants from plants, Elements that we released in 2018. We've never used PT before. So that's one of the main challenges. It's so it's a first for a number of different reasons, you know. First time of use pT first time we're using recycled materials, it's a little bit softer than A. B. S. Plastic, which is the material we use for about 80% of our bricks. So we had what we call an impact modifier to that as well and you know, at the moment it's in a light gray color. We're also trying to work out how to color that brick better. Um but yeah, so lots of lots of technical challenges there, but ultimately our long term goal is to have all of our bricks made from uh sustainable plastic by 2030 And to remove single use plastic from all our products and packaging by 2025. The majority of the single use static in our boxes today are what we call pre packed bags so that the numbered bags that contain all of the bricks that help, You know, Children and adults have this great building experience. So we're replacing those with paper bags. We have a couple of trial products out there in the market and over the time between now and 2025 will replace all of those single use plastic bags with paper bags. And that will be sort of fsc assured paper as well. And obviously our boxes already are fsc certified. That's a cardboard box. It's pretty sustainable. And over the years we've shrunk the size of that box as well by about 18% to take out some of the excess air, so making it more efficient and better use of resources. We're also saying to people, once you finished with your lego bricks, if you pass them down and you're thinking about putting them back into the loss, you know, we want people to share and pass those bricks on. We have a program called replay and replay is in the U. S. And Canada and you can print off a label from our website for free, put it on a shoe box or whatever, fill it with lego and we'll take the lego back again all for three. Well process it, clean it up and we'll give it to charity. We really want to encourage people to enjoy lego to click it together to enjoy the compatibility, but also to pass it on to other people. And I think that's how we can also address sustainability. You know, more play with less impact. Mm. Mhm.
