Koç Holding is Turkey’s largest conglomerate, with sales representing about 8% of the country’s GDP. In 2023, about 40% of its revenues came from its energy businesses, including fuel refining and distribution, while 28% came from its automotive firms, led by joint ventures with Ford (Ford Otosan, which is the American company’s largest producer of commercial vehicles in Europe) and Stellantis (Tofaş). Koç is also a major player in finance and consumer durables such as air conditioning and white goods, with smaller business lines in food and DIY retailing, tourism and IT. The company has 119,000 employees and is based in Ankara.
