Kayrros

Kayrros, which specializes in environmental monitoring, launched its Wildfire Risk Monitor after record-large forest fires burned through more than 150,000 acres in France in 2022. The tool, relying on a partnership with multinational insurance company AXA, processes satellite data with AI to map wildfire patterns, provide risk models, and alert firefighters and insurers to the status of fires in real time. More than 350,000 of AXA’s commercial clients at 30 million locations are using the Kayrros technology to assess and mitigate wildfire threats.
