Intuit, the global financial platform behind TurboTax and QuickBooks, has kept its employees’ well-being a priority since the pandemic began. Last year, it expanded the $1,300 Well-Being for Life benefit—which reimburses any expense aligning with employees’ physical, emotional, or financial well-being—to include costs like nannies, tutors, and financial planning services. In its effort to “power prosperity,” Intuit’s Prosperity Hubs program, launched in 2016, has led to the creation of thousands of full-time and seasonal jobs across eight underserved communities in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. “Executive leadership listens and acts to ensure employees are supported and successful,” notes one staffer. Indeed, in 2021, 1,000 jobs (28% of openings) were filled internally.
