To help businesses adapt to climate-change-related disruptions, IBM recently launched its Environmental Intelligence Suite, software-as-a-service incorporating an extensive weather data set with powerful A.I. EIS is already being used by freight giant Norfolk Southern to fight freezes on rail lines, and by Brazilian biofuel maker BP Bunge Bioenergía to forecast high-risk areas for wildfires.
