HubSpot, a global customer relationship management platform, is striving to become a leader in diversity and representation. The company has published its diversity data annually since 2017. As of Jan. 1, 2022, women make up 48.5% of HubSpot’s U.S. workforce. Yamini Rangan became CEO in September 2021, and the company includes another four women on the executive leadership team and four women on the board of directors. To support employee well-being and battle burnout, HubSpot introduced the “5Rs initiative,” including a global week of rest and no internal meetings on Fridays. The company also supports a number of mentorship programs including the Uplift Initiative and RISE, which invest in the career development of BIPOC employees. HubSpot’s $20 million commitment to social impact investing includes a $7.5 million investment in support of Minority Depository Institutions.
