Hewlett Packard Enterprise—which split from Hewlett-Packard in 2015 and focuses on information technology—saw order growth up 20% during the first fiscal quarter of 2022 as many U.S. companies continued to bring employees back to the office. Yet internally HPE has doubled down on the mental and emotional support offered to employees and focused on rolling out benefits like the Work That Fits Your Life program. As part of the initiative, rolled out in 2019, employees get access to three hours of paid time off one Friday a month and six full Fridays off each summer.
