"The most unique aspect of this organization is its culture. The emphasis on teamwork, recognition, and opportunities for growth makes it a great place to work!"

"Overall, HMH is an excellent place to work. I feel that I'm provided with the necessary tools to do my job, there are always opportunities for further learning, management has strong leaders and team members work collaboratively to ensure work is complete. The balance between work and personal life is exceptional. I feel appreciated and recognized for going above my job responsibilities. New employees are made to feel welcomed to the team and valued as a team member."
Employees say:
"I've been extremely happy since joining the team at HMH. Both my manager and larger leadership make it very clear how important each team member and their contributions are. I feel valued, fulfilled, and respected in my role. I'm encouraged every day to continue building my skills, not only for my personal development, but also for the betterment of the healthcare system that serves our communities."
Employees say:
"Walking into the office doesn't feel like stepping into a sterile corporate environment; it feels like being welcomed into a community. There's an immediate sense of ease that settles over you, the kind of exhale you didn't know you were holding. The culture here is built on a foundation of psychological safety, where you're encouraged to be authentically yourself, quirks and all. Questions are met with genuine enthusiasm, not sighs, and mistakes are treated as collective learning opportunities rather than individual failures to be hidden."
Employees say:
"I think that our program to have unlicensed staff be trained to work as PCTs and then the program for PCTs in nursing school working weekends to go to school full time plus tuition reimbursement is a real pathway to changing the lives of those employees, and I am so proud that someone can go from being in environmental services or the cafeteria or something completely non-clinical and get support from HMH that makes the goal of becoming a nurse in reach."
Employees say:

Additionally, we prioritize work-life balance and offer flexible work arrangements to support our employees' well-being. By nurturing talent, we create a dynamic and supportive workplace that inspires excellence and fosters a sense of community."
Employees say: "It's wonderful! My team, my manager, being able to work from home three days a week, being trusted and not micromanaged. I am 51 and hope to retire here!"
Employees say:
"I have a leadership team and executive team that I trust implicitly. They are not afraid of doing the hard work. I believe that this trust in my executive team is fundamentally the most important attribute to maintain an innovative and stable health care organization, one that remains connected to purpose and values the power of a learning organization."
Employees say:
"The leadership delivers on its promise. The organization cares about work and life balance. We treat each other as family in our hospital and we care about the community that we serve. Our team members are proactive and highly engaged in volunteering to help the community members through outreach programs i.e. survivor of domestic violence, for the homeless, for those who lost their homes due to fire and natural disasters, etc."
