"Although I have not been here an immense amount of time, I truly feel that this workplace is special. The amount of support and the culture built around this company is something that is unheard of in other places. Starting here as my first job and feeling the strong desire to stay here and grow, I think, says a lot about the company. Everyone is so genuine, willing to help, and it truly feels like a family."

"Each colleague, including management, genuinely cares about each other, celebrates each others successes, and are there for each other through the good and the bad, both professionally and personally. I've truly never seen or even heard of a workplace culture as incredible as this."

"One thing that makes First American truly unique is the combination of autonomy and support we're given. It's rare to find a company where you're trusted to run your business like an entrepreneur, but also surrounded by teams who genuinely want to help you succeed. For example, our marketing, credit, legal, and operations teams operate with the same sense of urgency and ownership that we do in sales, which creates an environment where big goals actually feel achievable. Another unique aspect is the culture of continuous professional growth. Whether it's leadership programs, mentorship opportunities, or the expectation that we seek out ways to improve ourselves, First American invests in employees in a way I've never seen before. You feel like the company is as committed to your long-term success as you are. What's also unusual and incredibly valuable is the level of transparency and alignment across the entire organization. Leadership is open, accessible, and clear about our direction and strategy. That consistency makes it easy to feel connected to the mission and proud of the work we do. Overall, the combination of high standards, a team-first mentality, and the freedom to grow your career on your own terms is something I haven't found anywhere else."

"This company is the only company I have worked for since graduating college. Hearing from others who have come from other companies, our company stands out compared to the rest. We have a culture of respect and hard work. Colleagues can bring their authentic selves to work, and we are given the autonomy to run our client business the way we find best. Everyone is treated fairly and we have fun working together towards a shared vision. Our facility is another thing that sets us apart. Our HQ is a place people want to be."

There are so many opportunities to learn from your peers and management that go far beyond formal meetings/conferences. The people here get along better than any office environment I've ever experienced."

"People are genuinely cared about and a work-life balance is encouraged. We can work remotely 40% of the time, there's unlimited sick time, paid volunteer time-off and great benefits. There are many, many grass root initiatives across the company ranging from ERGs, professional development, community giving and company sports team. We are focused on being a good, profitable business, yet also having employees who are good people and well-rounded."

"One unique feature of First American is our Culture Team, a colleague-led committee that takes responsibility each year for putting ideas into action. The Culture Team members survey colleagues, research industry best practices, and host discussions to determine the most impactful initiatives for the year that will help further the culture at First American. Ideas that have emerged from the Culture Team are things like unlimited sick time off, improved parental leave and daycare subsidies, and a long list of family-friendly events throughout the year."
