Following the outbreak of the pandemic, Fast Enterprises took action, well, fast—and it spared no expense. The company, which develops and implements software for government agencies, covered moving fees and cost-of-living adjustments for employees who wanted to relocate. It also expanded sick leave for caregivers, offering staffers unlimited leave for either half their salary or $55,000 a year, whichever was higher. And according to one employee, Fast is also actively trying to counter the isolation staff may be feeling as they work from home: “Even while we are all quarantined…and working remotely, the company is doing everything it can to ensure that we stay in touch and maintain our relationships.”
