Factory Mutual Insurance Company, doing business as FM Global, is one of the world’s largest commercial property insurance companies. It also offers training services for preventing property loss, third-party testing and certification services for loss prevention products, and business risk consulting services, among other products and services. The company was formerly known as Allendale Mutual Insurance; it changed its name to Factory Mutual Insurance in 1999.
