Since 2013, the eyewear maker has provided vision care in more than 140 countries through its OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation. The effort has distributed eyeglasses to more than 94 million people worldwide. It’s also a job creator: It has established more than 36,000 vision-care centers in hard-to-reach rural areas, each staffed by a local entrepreneur trained by the foundation.
