Dow

Commodity chemicals company Dow Inc. manufactures plastics, chemicals, and agricultural products. Dow Inc. resulted when DowDuPont split into three publicly traded companies in 2019. Since then, Dow Inc. has struggled after a year in which oil prices plunged to all-time lows and demand for gas and oil faltered because of the coronavirus pandemic. The company’s primary subsidiary is the Dow Chemical Company, which is among the top three largest chemicals producers in the world, with roughly 54,000 employees in 160 countries. In April, Dow Inc. announced a partnership with Mura Technology to help fund and scale a new advanced recycling solution for plastics as part of its sustainability commitments.
