To say that DuPont has been through a lot of changes in recent years would be an understatement. In 2017, DuPont completed a $130 billion merger of equals with Dow to form DowDuPont, one of the world's biggest chemical companies. Then, in 2019, the chemical giant split apart again, this time into three separate companies—Dow, Corteva, and DuPont. Since then, DuPont has been reshuffling its businesses, most recently completing the separation of its nutrition and biosciences operation and signing agreements to divest its clean technologies and advanced solar cell materials businesses. The company expects to generate about $8 billion from the three transactions.
