DHL Express ranks No. 1 on the 2024 World’s 25 Best Workplaces list.

DHL was founded in California in 1969, but half a century later the delivery giant's red and yellow packaging has become just as ubiquitous across Europe. Acquired by Deutsche Post in 2002 and now headquartered in Germany, the company operates from 18 European countries (out of a global 220) which drive €11bn revenue (out of a total €81.8 bn in 2023). Its 45,000 European employees benefit from hybrid working options and paid volunteering days, with the company not only tailoring further perks to each region, but putting effort into ensuring uptake. In the U.K. and Ireland, for example, over 350 Wellbeing Champions are trained to act as ambassadors for a package that includes 24/7 medical support, mortgage advice and childcare discounts.
