DHL Group, headquartered in Bonn, Germany, is Europe’s largest and one of the world’s leading logistics companies. Its modern form took shape when the privatized Deutsche Post acquired all shares of U.S.-based courier DHL by 2002, later merging and expanding under the DHL brand. While the group’s heritage, like that of other European postal services, is sometimes traced to medieval European postal services, its core businesses today are express delivery, global freight and forwarding, international logistics, supply chain services (including warehousing), and e-commerce solutions.
