The shale powerhouse is focused in five main areas: the Delaware Basin located in southeast New Mexico and west Texas, the Eagle Ford in south Texas, the Anadarko Basin in western Oklahoma, the Williston Basin in North Dakota, and the Powder River Basin in Wyoming. Devon was founded in 1971.
