Deutsche Bank

Deutsche Bank in Fortune Rankings

Deutsche Bank gained its license from the Prussian government in 1870, with a particular focus on enabling trade between Germany and the rest of the world during rapid industrialization. It grew to become one of Europe’s foremost financial services companies. Today, it operates in four key areas: corporate banking, serving businesses from sole traders to multinationals under the Deutsche Bank, Postbank, and digital-only FYRST brands; investment banking; private banking, particularly within Germany; and asset management, under the DWS brand.
