The home construction company has been the largest U.S. homebuilder by volume since 2002. (Though rival Lennar bested it in revenue last year.) The company has benefitted in recent quarters as home prices have increased and the supply of homes has been strained. In its fiscal second quarter earnings, announced in April 2021, D.R. Horton reported strong growth. Net income increased 93% to $929.5 million compared to $482.7 million in the same quarter of fiscal 2020.
