Credit Acceptance asks all company managers to follow six simple leadership rules, which include “respect your peers” and “say thank-you.” And those rules are reflected in many of the benefits offered by the auto loan financing company. Through June 2021, Credit Acceptance provided hazard pay to the essential workers who were required to come into the office. It also offers robust fertility benefits of up to $10,000 as well as coverage for gender transition services. The diversity and inclusion committee, which formed in 2020, coordinated with the benefits team to introduce Inclusion Day, which gives all team members an additional eight hours of PTO to celebrate a religious, cultural, or historical day of significance to them personally.
