Coupang in Fortune Rankings

Coupang, founded in 2010, dominates South Korea’s e-commerce sector, thanks to an extensive automated logistics network that can get goods such as fresh groceries to shoppers in a matter of hours. Coupang, which debuted on the New York Stock Exchange in 2021, also offers restaurant delivery services, streaming, and e-payments. The platform has ventured further into overseas markets, expanding to the island of Taiwan and acquiring U.K. luxury platform Farfetch in early 2024. Coupang is one of a few Fortune 500 companies to generate almost all of its revenue outside the U.S.
