Corteva (also known as Corteva Agriscience) made its debut on the Fortune 500 list in 2020, one year after it was spun off from DowDuPont and became a public company. Soon after it began trading on the stock exchange, the then-largest U.S.-based manufacturer of the pesticide chlorpyrifos announced that it would cease chlorpyrifos production. Today, the leading agriculture company’s mission is to maximize productivity and profitability for farmers—that means developing and providing seed, crop protection, and digital solutions for them. As of 2025, the company operates across the United States, Canada, Latin America, the Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
