CATL is a battery company that engages in the research, development, production, and sale of electric vehicle and energy storage system batteries in China and internationally. It aims for carbon neutrality in its core business activities, and in pursuit of this goal has recovered 210,000 metric tons of spent batteries through its subsidiary Brunp Recycling. Brunp works with customers to build a closed-loop ecosystem, which incorporates battery production, usage, recycling and remanufacturing, and resource regeneration.
