The software producer, whose products include network management and cloud computing, put real money behind its commitment to support workers during the pandemic. In addition to guaranteeing continued pay for all contractors and employees through the end of 2020, Citrix gave nonexecutive staffers a $1,000 across-the-board bonus, and even revised its stock awards to be more generous during the equities crash early in 2020. Citrix also made an impression on staff by taking a direct approach to issues of equity and justice, hosting a companywide “Daring Dialogue” session in the wake of George Floyd’s murder. “I was impressed that this was important to the company,” said one staffer who identifies as multiracial. “Citrix cares about its employees—ALL of its employees.”
