The software company is set to combine with TIBCO Software following a take-private deal slated to close in mid-2022. Citrix continued to support employees during the ongoing pandemic through a new global employee assistance program via Workplace Options that rolled out in 2021, giving all employees and their households access to resources like eight free mental health counseling sessions per personal issue for each family household member per year. The company also gives new hires a stipend of $500 for work-from-home needs, whether they’re fully remote or hybrid. Says an employee: “In my circle of colleagues, many have experienced true hardships and loss of close family members this year. In at least four specific cases, the team genuinely offered to both take on work or help with the employee’s personal needs.”
