One of the oldest financial institutions in the U.S., Citizens Financial Group was founded in 1828 and now provides a variety of retail and commercial banking products and services, operating through its consumer banking and commercial banking segments. The consumer banking segment offers products including mortgages and credit cards and services like wealth management, while the commercial banking segment provides services such as lending and leasing, foreign exchange, and deposit management to companies in various sectors. Formerly called RBS Citizens Financial Group, the company became Citizens Financial Group in 2014.
