CIB focuses on the underbanked, particularly farmers, serving over 26,000 beneficiaries with agribusiness loans in 2023. Last year it issued bonds worth $123 million for sustainability-oriented micro- to medium-size ventures. Over 40% of those ventures are run by people under 35; half are women-led. CIB also has the largest ATM network of Egypt’s private banks.
